QS World University Rankings issued a list of the best universities in the world for 2012. This year, pemuncak held the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from the United States which shift the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom, to the number-two position.

Four other American universities, Yale, Chicago, Princeton University, and the California Institute of Technology, respectively ranked at seven, eight, nine and 10. University Rankings issue QS stuffing 400 universities in the world and is based on an evaluation of the progress of the research, teaching, international prospects and percentage of graduates entering the job market.
